1. Confirm the terminal in the Disney Cruise Line app or your cruise documents before you leave the hotel. Terminal 8 is 9155 Charles M. Rowland Drive. Terminal 10 is 9005 Charles M. Rowland Drive. Same road. Different garage.
2. Arrive inside your Port Arrival Time window. Showing up hours early usually means waiting in Florida heat, not a better boarding group.
3. Drop passengers and bags at the curb first. Porters take tagged luggage. Then park. On-site Port Authority parking is adjacent to the terminal (no shuttle), $20 per day plus tax, cashless, no reservations. Garages open around 10 / 10:15 AM on embarkation day. Confirm live; rates change.
4. Fly into MCO the day before if you are not already in Orlando. Same-day flights are how families miss ships.
5. Pack the day bag like checked luggage will not appear until afternoon: meds, swimsuits, chargers, one kid change of clothes, IDs, Port Arrival Form screenshot.

Port Canaveral Disney cruise parking and GPS gotchas
Some GPS apps do not recognize “Port Canaveral” as a city. Disney’s own port page says to try Cape Canaveral. Use the terminal number address, not the port name alone.
On-site Port Authority parking is walk-to-terminal. Off-site lots add a shuttle. For a first cruise with kids, the adjacent garage is the calm option. Exit 54A serves the A-side terminals (including 8 and 10). Exit 54B is the B-side. Wrong exit with kids is a long loop.
